Deconstructing Kanye:
--
100+ Quotes from Kayne’s Riffs on the Joe Rogan Podcast
Joe Rogan and Kanye West finally sat down together for their long awaited podcast discussion. Nearly 3 hours long, they cover all topics on Kanye’s mind. Within hours, millions have already listened.
At one point in the interview Joe makes note of how he sees Kanye as someone who likes to deconstruct things. As I listened, I came across quote after notable quotes from Kayne’s riffs. I jotted them down for some deconstruction of Kayne’s thoughts.
There’s no intention here to take any of these quotes out of context, but it’s cool to look at them as independent thoughts. Although I think it’s preferred that anyone reading this watch the podcast first, then check out the quotes as references. There’s so much to unpack. Even at 3 hours, there could be more extrapolation of some of the ideas that were shared.
Even though I don’t normally follow Kayne, I related to a variety of these quotes. Although quite a few of them were unexpected to hear. Kanye is certainly used to having a free flow of ideas, and it shows in this podcast. He opens up the floodgates of his mind and shares his thoughts with us openly.
Here are the quotes. I sectioned them off into segments of how the podcast transpired just to break it up a bit. All quotes are from Kanye, unless otherwise noted as quoted from Joe.

“I’m a great leader because I listen, and I’m empathetic, and I feel the entire earth. And I feel us as a species, as the human race.”

The Music Industry
